Aventador Silver is a silver shade from the palette of the Lamborghini flagship, the V12 Aventador with doors that open upward.
Responsibility details are not available.
On the Aventador silver behaves differently from a deep color. It does not hide the shape, and on the contrary it emphasizes the sharp edges and faceted surfaces the whole body is assembled from. On a model the surface itself therefore does a great deal of the work: every transition and every panel line is visible, and the color brings them out further. A light metallic tone moreover reacts differently to its surroundings, so a model in a display case changes its look according to where the light falls on it from.
The Lamborghini Aventador appeared in 2011 as the successor to the Murciélago and became the brand's last great generation with a naturally aspirated V12. The engine of 6.5 liters sits in the middle of the car, the load-bearing part is a carbon monocoque and the doors open upward in the brand's characteristic way. The car was built for more than ten years, and lightened track-tuned and open versions gradually came out of it. With this body it also matters that a number of surfaces pass over the edges without a soft radius.
It is for modelers who build modern supercars and know that with a light metallic tone the preparation of the surface decides more than with anything else. It will also serve those who build studies and concepts, where a light metallic tone tends to be the starting visual solution. On the flagship the silver was often accompanied by black items on the roof and the diffuser, which makes a rewarding contrast on a model.
