A resin kit of the German Panzer II light tank in the Ausf. B version in the small 1:100 scale from Zebrano. Small scales of this kind are meant rather for more experienced modelers and collectors; the parts are cleaned of casting residues and glued with super glue. The exact number of parts can differ between individual batches.
The Panzerkampfwagen II was a German light tank of the second half of the 1930s, armed as a rule with a 20 mm rapid-fire cannon and a machine gun. The early versions, the Ausf. B among them, served mainly as training and reconnaissance vehicles and were used in the opening campaigns of the Second World War, before heavier types replaced them in front-line service.
First wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use a filler primer before painting; in a small scale a light picking out of the detail with a wash and dry brushing shows well, and pigments finish the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
