The second part of the 1:72 decals, with twelve Hurricanes flown by Czech and Slovak airmen.
Responsibility details are not available.
The continuation of the theme brings twelve entirely new sets of markings. The serial numbers do not overlap with the first part in a single case, so anyone who has both sheets gets twenty-three different aircraft together and does not have to work out which markings have already been used.
The range of units is wider still and reaches beyond the British fighter squadrons. Alongside machines of Nos. 111, 238, 245, 253, 257, 258, 501 and 601 there is a Hurricane of the Polish No. 303 Squadron and, as the only one of its kind, a Hurricane Mk.XII of the Canadian No. 133 Squadron flown by Josef Stehlik. The Mk.XII was the Canadian production version with a Packard Merlin engine, so the model takes on a form that did not occur on ordinary British machines.
The sheet is a separate accessory for 1:72 scale and the model is obtained separately. Thanks to the number of variants it also suits a builder who wants to build several machines of one pilot from different periods of his service. The breadth of units represented also shows well that these airmen did not serve only with two squadrons of their own but were spread across the whole fighter defense of the islands.
