Miura Red is a shade from the Number Five line derived from the Lamborghini Miura, the car that changed the idea of a sports automobile in 1966.

Number Five derived this red from the Lamborghini Miura. On this car red is a particularly demanding surface: the body is extremely low, full of long rounded transitions and large curved areas, so a deep tone gives away every irregularity under the paint at once. On a well-smoothed model, though, it is exactly this combination of shapes and color that makes the greatest impression.
The Miura was presented in 1966 and is often called the first supercar in the modern sense of the word. It had a V12 mounted transversely behind the crew, which at its time was an absolute exception on a road car. Marcello Gandini designed the body at the Bertone studio, and on the early cars it was decorated by the so-called eyelashes around the headlights. More powerful versions gradually appeared, up to the sharpest form, which was built into the early 1970s.
Recommended to builders of road car models with a focus on the classic Italian school. Given how demanding the subject is in shape, it pays to give attention to preparing the surface so that the color comes out.
