Replacement pitot tubes and sensors of the DUAS system for models of the Mi-24 Hind helicopter in 1:48 scale, worked out for the Zvezda and Eduard kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mi-24 Hind is a Soviet attack helicopter that combines an armored cockpit and heavy armament with room for several soldiers in the rear of the fuselage. On the nose it carries an array of sensors and tubes of the external air data system, small but conspicuous elements that everyone notices on a model.
The injected tubes from the kit tend to be thick and inaccurate, and they break off easily when handled. The replacement parts in this set have the right slenderness and a crisp transition of shapes, so the nose looks more faithful even from close up. The set is worked out for Mi-24 models in 1:48 scale from the Zvezda and Eduard brands; how many parts it contains and exactly how they are fitted is given in the instructions of the manufacturer.
The set is for modelers who build the Mi-24 in 1:48 scale and want the nose finished off as well as the rest of the model. Working with small parts calls for tweezers, a sharp blade and a steady hand. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
