The real subject

The Messerschmitt Bf 109F, nicknamed the Friedrich, was the aerodynamically refined version of the famous German fighter. It went into service from 1941 and stood out from the older variants in its better flying qualities. The F-2 version was among the early forms of this series.

Application tips

In 1:144 scale the decals are very small, so work with fine tweezers and a soft brush. Give the surface a coat of gloss varnish so that no silvering occurs, soak the decal and move it carefully into place. A softener will help the decal settle, and a final flat varnish will even the look out.
