Master, Browning M2HB .50 cal for the M10 (1:35, metal barrel)

This is a turned metal barrel for the Browning M2HB .50 caliber (12.7 mm) heavy machine gun in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Master. The set is made for the M10 tank destroyer, and besides the accurate metal barrel it also contains a cradle and a small 50-round ammo can. It is neither a kit nor a vehicle model but a detail accessory that replaces the less accurate plastic part from the box with a crisp metal replacement with a faithful muzzle and barrel jacket.

Use

• The metal barrel replaces the plastic machine gun part on an M10 model in 1:35.
• Turned metal has a precise, thin-walled muzzle that cannot be reliably cast in plastic.
• Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
• Degrease the metal first and give it a primer for metal, so that the paint holds.

Painting tips

After the primer, spray it with a metallic paint and gently pick out the edges and the wear. Toning with graphite or a dark wash also works well for the look of steel.

This is a detail accessory (a metal barrel with an ammo can), not a kit. The vehicle model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
