This set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale brings the markings of Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighters in the service of No. 310 Czechoslovak Squadron RAF. It is the first part of a series devoted to this unit. The set is meant for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I, and the kit itself is not included in the package.
No. 310 Fighter Squadron was the first Czechoslovak squadron formed in Great Britain, in 1940, and it became famous for taking part in the Battle of Britain. Its Hurricanes carried the British camouflage scheme with round national insignia and unit codes, which makes them one of the most rewarding subjects connected with Czechoslovak aviation history.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish, once dry treat them with a softener so that they settle into the details, and finally give the set a coat of flat or semi-gloss clear varnish. We recommend cutting the decals out as close to the motif as possible.
