1:48 de Havilland Mosquito NF.XII/NF.XIX is a decal set from AML with the markings of the night fighter versions of the famous British wooden aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale brings the markings of the night fighter versions de Havilland Mosquito NF.XII and NF.XIX in RAF service. The set is meant for models of these variants of the Mosquito, and the kit itself is not included in the package.
The de Havilland Mosquito was among the most versatile aircraft of the Second World War, and its night fighter versions were equipped with airborne radar for intercepting enemy bombers. The NF.XII and NF.XIX machines carried dark night schemes with subdued national insignia, typical of RAF night operations.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish, once dry treat them with a softener so that they settle into the engraved lines, and finally give the set a coat of flat clear varnish to match the night scheme. Dark schemes are demanding on the cleanliness of the surface, so work carefully.
