A set of accessories for the assault gun built on the Panzer IV chassis. It contains the objects the vehicle carried on the outside, so a finished model stops looking like a piece freshly taken over from the factory. It is not a kit but an accessory for a model.
The StuG IV came about at the end of 1943 as a stopgap solution after an air raid limited the production of the existing assault guns. The superstructure of the StuG III was transferred onto the hull of the Panzer IV, only the driver's station moved forward into a characteristic box. The vehicle carried the same long 7.5 cm gun and served until the end of the war on both main fronts. The designation Sd.Kfz.167 belongs to it.
When placing the stowage, go by where there was room left on the real vehicle: the roof of the fighting compartment, the fenders and the rear. Keep to a few large pieces supplemented by a couple of small things; an overloaded vehicle looks untrue. Bring out the textile with a dark wash in the folds and the metal on the contrary with a fine rubbing of the edges. If the vehicle gets a winter white finish, paint the stowage separately and apply the white to it only in part.
The package is an accessory for a model; it contains neither the assault gun itself nor paints.
