This SX-Art set covers the glazed areas of a model during spraying and saves the time that preparing masking tape would otherwise swallow. The two-seat cockpit of the Mirage 2000N has a long canopy with several frames, and it is precisely there that a precisely cut piece pays off most: the lines come out straight, of equal width and without steps. The item belongs among accessories for the build; it is neither a kit nor a set of parts for changing the shape.
The Mirage 2000N was created as a two-seat strike offshoot of the delta-winged Mirage 2000 fighter, adapted for flying to the target at low altitude. The airframe was given a strengthened structure because of the loads from flying through the turbulent layer near the ground, and equipment that allows it to follow the terrain and copy its profile was added in the nose. The main armament was a guided missile carried under the fuselage. The machines served the French Air Force for many decades and formed the backbone of its strike squadrons. Externally, what tells it apart from the single-seat version is exactly the lengthened cockpit with two seats in tandem and the modified nose.
The surface must be dry, smooth and free of grease. Seat the small pieces at the corners of the canopy first and only then the large areas. Apply the paint in two thin coats and remove the mask before the film hardens right through, otherwise it can tear off at the edge.
