A Browning M2HB .50 cal (12.7 mm) machine gun barrel is a turned metal detail accessory from MASTER in 1:35 scale in a version for the Second World War and the Cold War alike. It replaces the plastic barrel with an accurate metal one.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish manufacturer MASTER contains a turned metal barrel for the Browning M2HB heavy machine gun of .50 caliber (12.7 mm), in a version usable both for the period of the Second World War and for the Cold War. Turned metal captures the characteristic ribbed cooling jacket of the barrel more finely and accurately than the original plastic part.
The Browning M2 machine gun is the most widespread heavy machine gun, found on tanks, carriers and jeeps. Its barrel with the ribbed jacket is a striking detail. The metal replacement from MASTER has a perfectly round section, a crisp muzzle and faithful ribbing. The accessory is intended for plastic kits of vehicles and weapons of the type concerned and does not contain the model itself.
Cut the original plastic barrel off and replace it with the metal part from the set. Glue the metal barrel with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and degrease it before gluing. Once assembled, paint it with a paint for metal and add fine weathering.
This is a detail accessory; paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
