1:16 Guitar is a diorama accessory from Firma49: a guitar in 1:16 scale that brings the interior of a model scene to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
It is not a kit of a musical instrument or a stand-alone model. It is a small scenic prop that completes a living or resting scene on a diorama. The name gives the scale as 1:16, so its dimensions match figures and hardware built at this size.
A guitar leaning against a wall, lying on a bunk or tossed beside crates immediately reveals that somebody lives in the space. Objects like these are exactly what separates an empty backdrop from a scene with a story: the viewer fills in rest between duties, an improvised concert in the barracks or a quiet moment in a village cottage. In a large scale the instrument is prominent enough for the eye to notice it even from a distance.
The wood of the body comes out when a thin glaze is laid over the base tone and the edges are then picked out with a dry brush. A gloss overcoat gives the instrument its typical silky reflection, while a matte surface instead looks well played and dulled. Think about the placement before you populate the scene with figures: a guitar needs free space and a point of support, otherwise it looks as if it were floating. Small props are also easy to lose, so keep them in a dish and attach them as the last step of the whole build.
