Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:144 scale with the aviation national insignia of Ireland for the period stated in the name. It is not a kit and not a part of a model but a separate accessory with which an already built and painted airframe is finished. The name states 2 sets; the exact composition of the motifs and their sizes cannot be read off the name, so go by the print on the sheet itself.
During the Second World War Ireland held to neutrality and its air corps was a numerically small body. The national marking derived from the colors of the Irish tricolor, that is from green, white and orange arranged in concentric circles. It is precisely this coloring that sets the Irish machines apart from British aircraft of similar types, which moved over the surrounding waters at the same time.
In 1:144 scale the individual motifs are tiny and break easily. Cut close to the print, therefore, and use a dampened brush with soft bristles for carrying them. Polish the surface beforehand with gloss clear, or silvering will appear under the film. A softener will then help the decal settle into engraved lines, and a matte overcoat will finally unify the surface of the whole airframe.
