A reduced model of the fourth-generation station wagon of the flagship range of the Mlada Boleslav carmaker, done in the Energy blue shade. The size of 1:43 is among the most widespread collectible formats, so the car fits onto an ordinary shelf and into a smaller display case and still keeps the shapes of its body legible.
A saturated blue works on the large side area of a station wagon differently from the short body of a hatchback: the line between the front and the rear fender is longer, so the reflections flow along it in one stroke. A form without a metallic effect has a calmer surface and shows the shape of the car itself better, which anyone who collects by generations and wants to compare proportions will appreciate. When lit from above, the reflection draws into a single band along the windows and the rest of the side stays even, which suits photographing a collection too.
Since 2001 the Superb has ranked among the largest cars of its marque, and in the Czech lands the station wagon has long been the more sought-after body version than the sedan. The fourth generation came onto the market at the end of 2023 with weight on aerodynamics, room for passengers in the rear and a large luggage compartment. The car commonly appears in company fleets and as a family car for long routes.
