This is a resin, 3D printed detail set of empty (spent) cartridge cases of 25 mm caliber, of the kind used by the Bushmaster automatic cannon. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory for bringing dioramas, the interiors of combat vehicles and scenes depicting firing to life. The small parts capture the shape of the case faithfully, including the base and the rim.
Spent cases suit the space around the cannon, the floor of a combat vehicle, crates and loose scatter over the ground of a diorama. They give the scene a story and the fine scale detail that plastic kits usually do not hold.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and cut them off the print supports. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. For a realistic look it is worth spraying the cases in a brass shade and patinating them lightly with a wash, so that the metal and the dulled rims stand out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and further material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
