A modeling aid supplied under the Wingel designation, belonging to the tools for building models; the way it is used is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
Wingel is a modeling aid that belongs to the tools for building models. It is therefore part of the equipment of the workplace, not one of the parts that get glued onto a model. The way it is used, its dimensions and any limitations are given in the manufacturer's instructions and in the data on the packaging; go by those.
With a new aid it pays to go through the instructions before you use it on a model under construction for the first time. Try the procedure out first on an offcut or on a part you will not miss, so that you know how the aid behaves and how much force to put on it. That spares the nerves on a piece you do not have twice. Clear your working surface in advance and set up good light; with fine modeling work it always pays off.
A tool lasts a long time when residues of glue, filler and paint are wiped off after work before they dry; a dried layer can only be removed at the risk of damage. Store the aid in a dry place and away from open solvents, which attack some materials. Do not expose it to high temperature or direct sun and keep it away from sanding dust, or the moving and mating surfaces will wear needlessly.
For modelers who equip their bench step by step and would rather reach for an aid made for the job than improvise with whatever happens to be at hand.
The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
