A set of color self-adhesive 3D decals for a detailed rendering of the cockpit of a model of the Phantom FG.1 fighter in 1:72 scale. The decals are printed on a flexible film with real depth. Since this is a two-seat aircraft, the set typically covers the front as well as the rear cockpit, the instrument panels, the side consoles and the seat belts.
The McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.1 was the British version of the famous twin-engined two-seat F-4 Phantom II fighter, adapted for operation with British Rolls-Royce Spey engines and avionics. It served with the Fleet Air Arm and with the Royal Air Force as a multirole fighter.
First degrease the surface. Cut the individual elements out, lift them off the carrier layer and transfer them into place with tweezers, then press them down. At a small scale work patiently. The fine dials need no further painting.
The set contains the interior decals only. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
