Eduard 1:48 A-10 armament is a set of photo-etched parts for bringing out the armament and the pylons of the model of the A-10 Thunderbolt II ground-attack aircraft. The model itself is not included in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard aimed at the external stores of the American ground-attack aircraft A-10 Thunderbolt II in 1:48 scale. The thin metal parts refine the pylons, the fins and the details of the stores, which come out simplified in plastic. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory for advanced detailing; the basic kit and the armament itself have to be bought separately.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American ground-attack aircraft for the direct support of ground units. Besides its massive seven-barrel cannon it carries a wide range of ordnance under its wings and fuselage, from unguided bombs and rocket pods to guided missiles. It is precisely this rich armament that is one of its characteristic features.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them in a metal bending tool. They are glued with super glue, or with epoxy. Degrease the metal parts before painting and pull a primer over them.
This is a set of photo-etched parts, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
