Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from Quickboost brings precisely cast barrels for the onboard gun of a model of the American Cessna A-37 Dragonfly light attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit, but a replacement part that swaps the simplified plastic barrels from the box for more slender and more faithful castings with a crisp shape.
The A-37 Dragonfly was created as a light attack aircraft derived from the T-37 trainer and proved itself in the fighting in Vietnam. In the nose it carried a rapid-fire rotary machine gun whose protruding muzzle is a small but conspicuous detail on a model. A fine casting with faithful proportions looks better than the thicker plastic parts from the box and saves the laborious job of replacing them with metal tube.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent to remove mold release residue. Separate the thin barrels carefully from the casting block with a sharp knife or a saw and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue and handle them with tweezers. The muzzle can be suggested gently for effect; dark metal shades bring out the material.
The accessory is supplied as a resin replacement part, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
