Colored three-dimensional interior elements in 1:48 scale for the A-4M Skyhawk in its late production form, cut for the Magic Factory kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A-4 Skyhawk is a small single-seat carrier attack aircraft that was built for long decades and became famous for its low weight and simple design. The A-4M version was the last single-seat branch of development for the United States Marine Corps: it received a higher and better glazed cockpit and a dorsal hump behind it. The cockpit of the Skyhawk is set high and through the large glazing there is a good view into it on a finished model.
These are colored three-dimensional interior elements in 1:48 scale, cut for the A-4M kit from Magic Factory. The set aims at the late production form of the machine. The elements have raised relief, so the instruments and panels are not merely a printed surface; they do away with laborious coloring of small details and with dry brushing the parts from the box.
The base has to be clean, degreased and free of excess material, otherwise the element will not seat. The method of applying them differs from set to set, so go by the manufacturer's instructions before you work, as they also give the way the elements are fixed. Work with fine-tipped tweezers, lay the element down from one edge so that no air is trapped under it, and try each piece dry beforehand. Seat all the elements before you close the cockpit with the glazing; after that you cannot reach them.
For builders who want the cockpit of the Skyhawk finished quickly and without painting the smallest details with a brush. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
