The Eduard photo-etched set A-4M Skyhawk 1:48 is a fine photo-etch detail accessory for advanced modelers to go with a model of the A-4 Skyhawk carrier attack aircraft; it is not an aircraft kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A fine photo-etch detail set in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory in thin etched metal parts, most often brass, with which you replace or complete the small details on a plastic model of the A-4M Skyhawk attack aircraft that cannot be molded in plastic at the right fineness. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American single-seat light carrier attack aircraft, small and agile, nicknamed the Scooter. The A-4M version was built for the US Marine Corps — the last production form, with a more powerful engine and an enlarged, higher-set canopy for a better view from the cockpit.
Nip the etched parts carefully out of the fret and clean up the tabs. Bend them over a sharp edge (a photo-etch bending tool works well) and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before varnishing, degrease the parts and apply a primer for good paint adhesion; areas pre-printed in color should be varnished only with care.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not an aircraft kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
