The Quickboost 1:48 A-7 Corsair II undercarriage covers is a resin set of landing gear doors for the A-7 Corsair II carrier-borne attack aircraft. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not an aircraft model.

Resin doors for the landing gear bays and legs in 1:48 scale for models of the American LTV A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft. The Quickboost brand is made by the Czech firm Aires and focuses on small, single-purpose accessories that solve one particular weakness of a kit. Here it is the thickness of the doors: plastic parts tend to be coarse and without internal structure because of the injection molding process, whereas resin manages a thin wall and rendered stiffeners. It is not an aircraft kit but replacement parts for a model you already have.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was a single-seat subsonic carrier-borne attack aircraft of the US Navy, derived in shape from the supersonic F-8 Crusader fighter, but shorter, without the variable-incidence wing and with a turbofan engine. It entered service in the second half of the 1960s and, thanks to a large payload on its stores stations and good range, it became one of the Navy's main attack types; in the A-7D version it was used by the US Air Force as well. The Corsair II has a conspicuously large intake under the nose and robust carrier landing gear with large bay doors.
Wash the castings in warm soapy water and cut the casting blocks off with a thin saw; pressure from a knife breaks the thin doors. Straighten any bowing in lukewarm water. On carrier aircraft the inside of the bays and the inner sides of the doors are painted light and get dirty quickly, so after spraying use a dark wash and fine oil stains, but do not overdo it. Glue the doors with super glue only after the finish and the decals are on. For deck scenes, light salt and rub-through on the edges also suit, because operating at sea was merciless to the finish.
The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
