A resin detail set, not an aircraft model. This resin set from Aires in 1:48 scale brings the landing gear bays of the American LTV A-7 Corsair II carrier attack aircraft. It replaces the shallow or empty bays from the box with a faithfully drawn structure complete with ribs, piping and wiring. The set is intended for experienced modelers; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was an American single-seat subsonic carrier attack aircraft deployed from the second half of the 1960s, among other places in the Vietnam War. In shape it came from the supersonic F-8 Crusader, but it was smaller and intended for precision attack on ground targets. Its landing gear bays had a rich internal structure, which the resin casting captures exactly.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
