A detail cockpit set for the attack aircraft LTV A-7D Corsair II in 1:48 scale from the maker Aires. This resin accessory replaces the basic interior of a plastic kit with a faithfully detailed cockpit: a cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side consoles, an ejection seat and the controls.
The A-7 Corsair II was an American single-engine subsonic attack aircraft. The D version was the land-based standard for the US Air Force, derived from the original carrier type. It stood out for its accurate avionics for strikes on ground targets and for its good weapon load.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Protect your airways while sanding. The interior comes into its own once it is painted and the details are lightly brought out with a wash.
