This set holds finely cast resin barrels for the gun armament of a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory of the Quickboost brand (Aires) that replaces the plastic parts of a kit with crisper and more faithful castings. This is not an airplane model but a detail set for raising the realistic look.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service of the Second World War. It made its name with its great range and agility. Finely worked barrels contribute markedly to the realistic impression of a finished model, because they replace the thicker and less detailed plastic parts from the box.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and line them up in place. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways and ventilate the room while sanding resin.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
