Eduard A6M2 Zero 1:48 is a color self-adhesive photo-etched set for detailing the cockpit of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero carrier fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color self-adhesive photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale, intended for detailing the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero carrier fighter. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a plastic kit. The set, from the range of simplified color sets, focuses above all on the cockpit: it offers a color printed instrument panel, seat belts and other fine details of the cockpit.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier fighter that astonished the Allies at the start of the war in the Pacific with its agility and exceptional range. The A6M2 version was among the first production ones and took part in the opening operations including the attack on Pearl Harbor. Its light structure bought that performance at the cost of armor and toughness.
Peel the color self-adhesive parts off and set them in place; align them with the plastic parts, which sometimes have to be thinned. Bend the fine etched elements precisely and fix them with cyanoacrylate. Finish and fit out the cockpit before the fuselage is closed up.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not an aircraft model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
