Responsibility details are not available.
The item belongs to the Big Ed range. In it Eduard bundles several of its separately sold photo-etched sets meant for one particular kit. It brings together in one package several sets that are also sold separately. The target is the A6M2b fighter in 1:48 scale. The airplane model is not part of the package, and you should look for the exact list of the sets enclosed in the manufacturer's description.
The Mitsubishi A6M2b, also known as the Model 21, was a carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy with a Nakajima Sakae radial engine. Against contemporary machines it stood out for its exceptional range and agility, which was achieved by a very low structural weight. The Model 21 version had folding wingtips so that the aircraft would fit into the deck elevators of aircraft carriers. It was precisely this type that formed the backbone of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service fighter arm in the first months of the war in the Pacific.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a scalpel against a hard backing and bend them on a photo-etch bending tool, so that the bend comes out sharp and straight. Degrease the sheet before gluing and glue with cyanoacrylate applied in a minimal amount, ideally with a pin. With accessories for the cockpit it pays to dry-fit the whole interior first and only then to close the fuselage, because once the halves are glued you can no longer get inside. Do not paint over the pre-painted parts; you would lose their main advantage by doing so.
