This item is not an airplane kit but a bundle of accessory sets from Eduard's Big Sin line. Big Sin brings several separately sold resin sets together in a single package. The set is made for the Eduard kit of the Japanese A6M3 fighter in 1:48 scale and replaces selected plastic parts with more accurate castings. The exact make-up of the bundle and the number of parts cannot be determined from the name; they are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
The resin parts are cut from the casting blocks with a saw or a cutter, not with nippers, so that the material does not splinter. Before gluing, wash them in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface and the paint then holds. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; on larger parts the gel version is useful because it allows more time to settle them. Sand wet and with respiratory protection, because resin dust is fine. We recommend dry-fitting the parts and removing material gradually, because a casting that fits exactly is hard to put back.
