This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings resin AGM-65 Maverick tactical air-to-ground guided missiles with a launch rail in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but a weapons detail set for arming a model of a Western combat aircraft, for instance the F-16, the A-10 or the F/A-18. The optical seeker head is cast in clear resin. The parts usually allow several versions of the missile to be built and come with decals.
The AGM-65 Maverick is an American tactical air-to-ground missile built to destroy ground targets, armored vehicles and smaller vessels. It was produced in optical, infrared and laser-guided versions and is among the most widespread weapons of its kind.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Mask the clear seeker head last of all and add the markings from the decals.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin detail set. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
