This set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio upgrades the interior of the American attack helicopter. The details are printed on decal backing paper, they have real depth and color and they are applied by the wet method, with no photo-etching and no painting. The target kit is the one from Hasegawa.
The AH-64A Apache was the first production version of the American heavy attack helicopter, with the pilot and gunner seated in tandem. It stood out for its advanced avionics and heavy armament. The richly equipped cockpits make the interior a rewarding feature of the model.
Cut the part out of the sheet, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 kind; on broken surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. The detail stands out best in the glazed tandem cockpit.
This is an aftermarket accessory (a 3D decal), not a kit. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
