A set of four resin AIM-120C AMRAAM missiles in 1:48 scale from AMMO by Mig Jiménez. Accessory armament for models of modern fighters, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains four resin AIM-120C AMRAAM air-to-air guided missiles in 1:48 scale from AMMO by Mig Jiménez. It is accessory armament with which you arm models of modern fighter aircraft; it is not an aircraft kit of its own. The missiles replace or supplement the weapons from the box and raise the fidelity of the external stores.
The AIM-120 AMRAAM is an American medium-range air-to-air guided missile with active radar homing. The AIM-120C version has shortened control surfaces so that it can be carried in internal weapons bays, and it is standard armament on many Western fighters, for example the F-16, the F/A-18 and the F-15. It allows targets to be engaged beyond visual range.
Wash the mold release off the resin parts and cut the casting blocks away. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The missiles are usually painted light gray or white with distinct colored bands; sharp-edged masks help when spraying them.
This is accessory armament in resin. The base aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
