A 3D printed resin set of AIM-9 Sidewinder guided air-to-air missiles in 1:48 scale from RESArm. The package contains a set of missiles together with decals carrying the technical stencils. It is not an aircraft kit but faithful external stores for modern and postwar jet fighters. The fine 3D print captures the shape and the details of the seeker head and of the control surfaces.
The AIM-9 Sidewinder is an American short-range infrared homing air-to-air missile, one of the most widespread weapons of its kind in the world. It has served in the armament of fighters in a number of variants from the 1950s to the present day.
Separate the missiles from the print supports and wash off the residue. The thin control and stabilizing surfaces are fragile, so handle them carefully. Use cyanoacrylate glue; apply the decals onto a smooth clear coat and finish the painting before fitting them to the racks.
The set contains resin missiles and decals. The aircraft model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
