The AS-1 airfield starter with the Yak-1B fighter in 1:48 scale from UM is a plastic kit containing both the starting vehicle and the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale from UM that contains two real subjects at once, the AS-1 airfield starter on a truck chassis and the Soviet Yak-1B fighter. The package combines plastic parts with photo-etched elements, so a small airfield scene comes out of it.
The AS-1 airfield starter was an auxiliary airfield vehicle serving to turn over the engines of aircraft before takeoff. The Soviet Yak-1B was a single-seat single-engine fighter of the Second World War from the Yakovlev design bureau, one of the basic types of the Soviet fighter force. Bringing the two real subjects together creates a scene from a field airfield.
Build the vehicle and the aircraft separately and bring them together only in the final scene. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Varnish the aircraft's cockpit before closing the fuselage. Apply the base shades with an airbrush and bring out the details and the patina with washes and pigments. The pair comes into its own on a small diorama base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
