A decal set in 1:48 scale for the Alpha Jet E trainer in the markings of the Belgian and French air forces, the second part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set for the two-seat Alpha Jet jet trainer and light attack aircraft in the E version. It brings markings of the Belgian and French air forces and is listed as the second part of the series; the first and third parts are sold separately under further codes in the same range.
Kits usually come with only a few schemes, and as soon as you want to build the machine of a particular unit or an anniversary finish, the decals from the basic box are not enough. A separate sheet gives you more choice and is usually printed more finely than the paper included. So you add to the build the thing that sets your model apart from the other Alpha Jets in the display case.
Before you wet the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is an adhesive version; wetted adhesive film is ruined for good. With an ordinary waterslide decal, proceed as follows: lay a gloss varnish over the base, cut the decal out close to the print, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it releases from the paper. Then move it onto the model, line it up, blot the excess water away and let it dry. A decal softener will help the decal settle into recessed lines and over rivets. Finally, go over everything with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
The box holds a decal sheet. The kit, paints, varnishes and decal softener are not included, unless stated otherwise.
