A colored cockpit detail set; it is not an aircraft kit. The parts are 3D printed, fully colored and supplied on decal paper: the instrument panel, the side consoles, the levers and the switches with fine relief. The set is intended for late AV-8B Harrier II models in 1:48 scale. The target kit is Hasegawa.
The AV-8B Harrier II is an American-British attack aircraft with vertical and short take-off serving with the Marine Corps. The late versions carried upgraded avionics and a modified cockpit layout compared with the first machines. The single-seat cockpit with its many controls makes an interior set a rewarding accessory.
The parts release in water like a decal, but once off the paper they behave more like pre-colored flexible details. They are applied to cleaned cockpit surfaces, and small elements can be secured with a drop of cyanoacrylate. They do without a softener, as that chemistry would attack the printed resin. Tweezers and a dry test of the placement are recommended.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included, unless stated otherwise.
