The Avia S-199 was a postwar Czechoslovak fighter created by combining the Messerschmitt Bf 109 airframe with the available Junkers Jumo 211 engine. The aircraft, with its unmistakable nickname Mezek (Mule), went down in history as, among other things, the first fighter type of the newly formed Israeli Air Force. An accurately rendered cockpit with a legible instrument panel and belts significantly raises the realism of the finished model.
