A set of masking templates Eduard 1:48 B-17G anti-glare panels (BO and DL production) for the easy painting of the matte anti-reflective surfaces on a model of the bomber. It is neither a model nor paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the manufacturer Eduard holds self-adhesive pre-cut masking templates for painting the anti-reflective anti-glare panels on a model of the B-17G bomber in 1:48 scale. It is neither a model nor paint but an aid that makes the precise and crisp bounding of the matte black surfaces in front of the engines and the cockpit easier. The mask is intended for the B-17G variants from the BO and DL production (machines built in the Boeing and Douglas plants), which differed slightly in the placing of the panels.
The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. The matte anti-glare panels were laid on the upper surfaces in front of the cockpit and on the engine cowlings, so that they would not reflect sunlight into the eyes of the crew.
The set is ideal for modelers who are building the B-17G in 1:48 scale and want a clean and precise bounding of the anti-reflective surfaces without laborious masking by hand.
This is a supplementary masking set, not a model or paint. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
