This is an aftermarket detail set, not an aircraft model. The box contains two 3D-printed resin ACES II ejection seats for the early two-seat versions of the F-16 fighter. The fine direct printing captures the texture of the cushions, the harness and the controls, and it replaces the simplified seats from the box with a faithful replica of the pilot's space.
The ACES II ejection seat became the standard on a range of American combat aircraft. Two-seat machines have two seats in the cockpit, which is why the set is supplied as a pair. A faithful rendering of the seats lifts the look of an open cockpit considerably.
Separate the seats from the print supports, wash them and degrease them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the base in dark shades, set the harness and the handles apart in contrasting colors and bring the detail out with a light wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
