B-25J engines PRINT 1:48 is a 3D-printed set of two engines (Brassin, Eduard) for building the B-25J Mitchell bomber. It is not a model but a detail accessory for a plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a model of the aircraft but a detailed 3D-printed set of two radial engines for the twin-engine North American B-25J Mitchell bomber in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the simpler plastic engines from the base kit with a faithful 3D-printed replica with finely rendered cylinder finning. According to the manufacturer the set does not include the engine cowlings; those are used from the original kit.
The accessory is intended for the plastic B-25J kit from Hong Kong Models (HKM). The base kit is not included in the package and the modeler has to own it. The faithful engines stand out above all on a build with the cowling open or in a diorama.
Before gluing, wash the resin and 3D-printed parts free of print resin residue and let them dry. Cut off the print supports with a saw and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways while sanding. Airbrush painting, metallic shades and a fine wash will bring out the structure of the cylinders.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
