Photo-etched steel seat belts 1:48 B5N2 are a metal detail accessory for a faithful rendering of the seat belts in the cockpit of a model of the Japanese carrier torpedo bomber. It is not a kit but color-printed steel photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains the crew's seat belts made by the color steel photo-etching technology (STEEL). It is not a kit but an aftermarket accessory for a model of the Japanese B5N2 torpedo bomber in 1:48 scale. With the steel belts you will replace coarse plastic or missing belts and markedly increase the realism of the cockpit. Photo-etched steel is springier than brass and holds bends better, and the color printing faithfully imitates both the fabric and the fittings, so the parts do not have to be painted. The manufacturer is the Czech firm Eduard.
The Nakajima B5N (Allied designation Kate) was a Japanese carrier torpedo and level bomber. The B5N2 version with a more powerful engine formed the backbone of the Japanese carrier strike arm at the start of the war in the Pacific and took a significant part in the attack on Pearl Harbor. The three-seat machine was among the best of its kind in its day.
Separate the belts with a sharp knife and shape them into natural folds with tweezers. Glue with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate or with a glue for photo-etched parts. Protect the color printing from being sanded and handle the parts over a light-colored surface, so that the tiny pieces do not disappear.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of an airplane. The base kit and glue are not included in the package.
