A set of realistic restraint straps for models of the American twin-engine Douglas Boston III / A-20B/C Havoc in 1:48 scale. The belts are neither photo-etched parts nor resin - they are a 3D-printed self-adhesive decal: colored, raised straps with buckles printed on a flexible film. The pre-printed color and shading give a faithful look with no painting. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Art Scale (ASK).
The belts are lifted off the backing and placed on the crew seats, where the pliable film follows the shape of the cushion. They are applied by pressing them down; the joint can be reinforced with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate glue for extra security. The set suits above all the open parts of the interior, where the belts can be seen.
The set contains the self-adhesive 3D decals of the belts. The seats, the model and paints are not included in the package.
