Eduard 1:48 Beaufort Mk. I landing flaps is a photo-etched set of landing flaps for models of the Bristol Beaufort Mk.I torpedo bomber in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Eduard contains photo-etched metal landing flaps intended for a model of the British Bristol Beaufort Mk.I torpedo bomber in 1:48 scale. It is an upgrade accessory, not an aircraft kit. Thin photo-etch makes it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position with a realistic structure of ribs and lightening holes that a solid plastic part cannot capture convincingly.
The Bristol Beaufort was a British twin-engine torpedo and bomber aircraft of the Second World War. It served above all with Coastal Command against surface ships and in anti-shipping operations in the Mediterranean and over the North Sea. It was marked by a rugged structure and a large bomb and torpedo bay.
The flaps call for accurate separation from the fret with a sharp knife and careful forming with a bender. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before fitting them to the wing it is a good idea to degrease the photo-etched surfaces and spray them with a primer. A realistic effect is enhanced by lightly picking out the panel lines and shading the recesses.
An upgrade accessory. This is not an aircraft model; the plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
