This is a resin detail set from Quickboost for models of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in the Q and N versions, in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but a set of replacement exhaust stacks that take the place of the parts from the box with a crisper, more faithful casting. The accessory is intended for more experienced modelers.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks and sand them down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Hollow the exhaust openings out slightly for depth and bring them out with a wash and rust pigments for a worn look.
This is a detail accessory, not a whole model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
