About product

Bf 109E landing gear bay plugs 1:48 (Omask)

A modeling aid for painting, not a kit. The foam plugs are shaped to the space of the landing gear bays on a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:48 scale. Before painting they fill the open bays and replace laborious masking with tape.

Use

  • Press the plugs into the landing gear bays before paint or clear is sprayed.
  • Spray the outer surfaces of the model.
  • Once the paint is dry, take the plugs out and the inside of the bay stays clean.
  • Handled with care, the foam can be used again.

Who the aid is for

  • Modelers who want an exact split between the paint of the airframe and of the bays.
  • Builders working with an airbrush.
  • Anyone who wants to shorten the masking before painting.

This is a masking accessory. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
