An Eduard 1:48 TFace masking set for the Messerschmitt Bf 109F makes it possible to cover the glazing from the outer as well as the inner side.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale for the German Messerschmitt Bf 109F fighter in the TFace form. The TFace designation means that the set contains masks for both sides of the glazing — the outer as well as the inner one. Thanks to that the canopy frames can be sprayed from both sides, so that they match the color of the interior from the inside and the outer camouflage finish. It is not a kit or decals but masks die-cut from a fine masking tape.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109F, nicknamed Friedrich, was the aerodynamically cleaned-up version of this German fighter of the beginning of the Second World War, valued for its very good flying qualities.
The inner masks are stuck onto the glazing before assembly and before spraying the interior color, and the outer ones once the canopy has been seated on the fuselage, for the final camouflage. Lay the masks precisely and press them down so that no paint runs under the edges, and remove them once the paint has set.
This is an add-on masking set, not a model. The kit itself and paints are not included in the package.
