A detail set from the maker Aires. This is not a model but an accessory for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the F and G versions in 1:48 scale. It contains resin inserts for the main landing gear bay and a small photo-etched sheet.
The set replaces the simplified or shallow landing gear bay from the original kit with a faithful casting full of texture, ribs and runs of piping. During assembly you can choose between a rounded and a more angular rendering of the wheel well according to the particular subject.
Wash the mold release off the parts and cut the casting blocks off. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the landing gear bay and finish it with a wash before the wing is closed up. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
