Bf 109G-10 TFace 1:48 is a double-sided die-cut masking set from Eduard for models of the late version of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This masking set is intended for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 in 1:48 scale, and in the TFace version it contains masks for both sides of the glazing, outside and inside. It lets you spray the canopy frames on both sides and leave the inside in the interior shade. It is not a model but an accessory. The masks are machine-cut from Japanese kabuki tape and copy the shape of the parts exactly.
The Bf 109G-10 was among the most capable production versions of the Gustav at the end of the Second World War. It had the DB 605 engine, an aerodynamically cleaned-up fuselage and the Erla-Haube type of canopy. A faithful separation of the interior and exterior colors of the canopy lifts the realism of a finished model markedly.
Degrease the glazing. Lay the outer masks on the frames from outside and the inner ones on the reverse of the canopy. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and take the masks off shortly after it has dried. The set will usually serve for masking the wheels as well.
The accessory contains no model and no paints. It serves only for masking while spraying.
