An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in its Gustav form (G-2/G-6) in 1:48 scale. Thanks to optional parts the kit allows the G-2 or the G-6 variant to be built, and it offers decals for machines of the fighter wing JG 27. The package holds plastic parts, a clear canopy part, decals and building instructions.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War. The Gustav (G) version was among the most widespread and was marked out by a more powerful engine and a range of detail changes. JG 27 made its name above all in action over North Africa and the Mediterranean.
Choose the G-2 or G-6 variant beforehand and use the matching parts. Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage, bond with thin cement for plastic and sand the joins. Lay the camouflage schemes on with an airbrush and apply the decals onto a gloss coat; add light weathering at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
