Eduard 1:48 set of painting masks for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 ensures precise spraying of the glazing frames and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard in 1:48 scale for the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6. It is neither a kit nor decals, but masks die-cut from fine masking tape that cover the canopy frames and the glazing exactly while spraying; Eduard aircraft sets usually include masks for the wheels as well.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of this German fighter of the Second World War. Its recognition features were the fairings over the weapons above the engine, nicknamed Beule (bulge), and the ability to carry various armament and external stores.
Carefully lift the masks off the backing, lay them precisely on the glazing frames and press them down so that paint does not run under the edges. Once the paint has been sprayed and has set, take the masks off. The open areas in the middle of the glazing are covered with tape or liquid mask.
This is an accessory masking set, not a model. The kit itself and the paints are not included in the package.
